Before a crowd of more than a thousand attendees on Sunday, Bell unveiled its new Bell 525 Relentless super medium model that the company hopes will revitalize its commercial helicopter sales. While the uber-cool 525 was big news, the launch itself generated a lot of buzz at Heli-Expo. Featuring lasers, advanced production and lots of smoke and possibly mirrors, Sunday’s Hollywood-worthy production so wowed the crowd that Bell, by, ahem, relentless demand, reprised the unveiling on Monday in front of at least a thousand more show-goers.
No word on how many were folks who missed Sunday’s event and got that rare second chance in life to see a once-in-a-lifetime production a second time and how many just wanted to catch an encore. (We were in the latter camp.) To see what all the fuss was about, you simply must check out the video.
