King Schools Launches ATP Written Prep Course Online

Restructured material helps students learn more efficiently.

As the date approaches when an ATP certificate will be required for new airline pilots, King Schools has added an ATP written course to its online database. The online format for the “ATP/Part 121 Dispatcher Knowledge Test Course” allows the student to resume the course at any time on any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection.

The new program uses legacy videos from King Schools’ DVD series. While the same teaching material is used, it has been repurposed to make the learning process more efficient. The original videos were shot in 30-minute to one-hour-long segments. These segments have been broken down into 10-minute clips that are concluded with quizzes that include actual questions from the ATP knowledge test.

“Now the same time-proven ATP course, that has helped tens of thousands of pilots pass their ATP written, can be taken anywhere you are able to get your hands on an Internet-connected computer,” said Martha King.

John King said the course aims to teach the material rather than strictly being a gouge for the written test. “It requires extensive study, and we have put in tremendous effort to simplify and clarify each topic, while keeping it fun,” he said. “We are so confident in the effectiveness of our online ATP course that we guarantee customers will pass their FAA exam or they get their money back.”
