Taking a page from luxury car sales strategy, Hawker Beechcraft Corp. (HBC) now offers five years of free maintenance for Premier 1A jet buyers, or 1,000 hours, whichever comes first. The deal is available until September 30. Buyers are also able to take advantage of bonus depreciation in 2009, with potentially significant tax savings. The composite-fuselage Premier 1A has the largest cabin in the light-jet class, by close to 30 percent, and is the largest and fastest jet eligible to be flown by a single pilot, according to HBC. According to a 2008 owners' survey, the Premier 1A also has the lowest operating cost and the best product support in its class.
