Harrison Ford Flies Again

Actor back at SMO to pilot his Bell 407.

For those wondering if Harrison Ford would ever fly again, now we know. Three months after crash landing his Ryan PT-22 on a southern California golf course after an engine failure, the Hollywood star was back in the pilot seat, taking to the skies with an instructor in his Bell 407.

He arrived at Santa Monica Airport for the flight along the Pacific Coast on Saturday, according to a report by People Magazine. It was Ford’s first time back at the airport or in the air since suffering head injuries and broken pelvis and ankle in the forced landing in March.

Ford’s son Ben said last month that his father planned to be back in the cockpit as soon as possible. Those who saw him at SMO said Ford looked happy to be back, although he walked with a slight limp.
