Eclipse Aviation is now subdivided into two corporate segments: a manufacturing division and a customer service division. The move came last week as part of new CEO Roel Pieper's move toward "operational excellence." The new president of the Eclipse Manufacturing Division is Peg Billson; and former vice president of sales and marketing Mike McConnell becomes president and general manager of Eclipse Customer Division. Billson's division is responsible for engineering, supply chain, quality, production and flight operations. McConnell's division is in charge of marketing, sales, customer and product support and flight training. Chief Financial Officer Mark Borseth is overseeing the budgets of both efforts. Challenges for the company include stepping up production to meet promised delivery dates; meeting payments for vendors; and repaying deposit holders who have canceled orders.
