Craig Fuller Joins Redbird

Former AOPA head to help Redbird expand markets.

Recently departed AOPA president and CEO Craig Fuller is joining flight simulation/training company Redbird Flight Simulations’ board of directors, Redbird founder and chairman of the board Jerry Gregoire announced.

Fuller’s addition to the board, Gregoire told Flying, would give Redbird the capability to give new focus and energy to expand its offerings from simulation and flight training solutions to new markets, including its recently announced Redhawk Cessna Skyhawk refurbishment program, under which Redbird extensively overhauls an existing legacy 172 airframe and replaces the Lycoming gas piston engine with a Centurion diesel powerplant. Redbird already has two Redhawks flying and has plans to build 30 Redhawks in 2014 and 100 in 2015.
