The RS Beeper Box allows owners of electric aircraft preheaters to turn off the preheater without trekking to the airport. To use it, purchase a standard pager from a local service, set the sensitivity and timing selector, then plug in the box and the 110V electric preheater. A beeping sound made by the pager activates a timed relay in the box. With 18 settings, you control the number of hours you want the unit on or shut it off when you cancel a flight. The box operates with 110-120 VAC, includes short-circuit and overhead protection, has 1,800 watts, two 120 VAC receptacles and a 15 amp fuse externally mounted for easy access.
