Christine Contarini lived in Hawaii for two years after high school and returned to the islands to launch "Sitting in Paradise," her "Hawaiiana" business of selling everything from print seat covers and hulas to car shirts featuring airplanes. Part of her love of aviation may come from her grandfather, who was a tailgunner in a B-25 in China. Contarini carries three different motifs: fighter, seaplane and airplane in S/M/L/XL and 2XL sizes. The featured shirt comes in other colors-rust, sky blue, navy and cream. A new helicopter version is available in black and baby blue. The 100 percent rayon shirts are priced at $47 plus $3 shipping. To order, call 916/394-9277 or e-mail Christine Contarini at www.sitparadise@jps.net.
