MS Technologies has introduced its ADT-1000, a high-speed data terminal that supports airborne e-mail, internet and fax. Making use of the new Inmarsat Swift64 mobile ISDN service, the dual-channel ADT-1000 is capable of 128 kbps throughput, a volume of data more than 50 times greater than previous satcom systems, claims EMS. The ADT-1000 (which should be available by the time you read this) is compatible with Arinc-741 Aero-H/H+ antennas, and EMS can set up customers' installations to go hand in hand with existing satcom equipment or as a stand-alone solution. For more information, contact EMS at 800/600-9759.
