Goodrich's SkyWatch HP earned FAA certification in November. The new system has a 15-mile, or better, display range and can track closure rates as fast as 1,200 knots. With built-in Arinc 429 interface, SkyWatch HP can interface with a variety of multifunction displays, as well as certain radar indicators when paired with Goodrich's RGC250 graphics interface. With the introduction of SkyWatch HP, Goodrich has lowered the price of SkyWatch, the forerunner of SkyWatch HP, from $19,980 to $17,980.
