Block Time or Pay as You Go?

I am trying to make the decision whether or not to buy a 25 or 50 hour block of time in a C172. I am just starting flight training and have limited funds, what is best? Block time or Pay as you go?

Brandon, My thought would be to pay as you go, and keep your hard-earned (or your parents') remaining money in the bank! Good luck with your flight training! Barry

I would buy block time and fly your tail off every day and get the rating. Getting it done is the best way to save money. Commit to the rating and get it done as fast as you can airfreddy
