I need to find background data on something I read 5 to 10 years ago.



An airline had a fleet of a particular model that did not have anti-lock braking. They purchased some new planes with anti-lock braking.



Pilots were flying planes of both types. In spite of rigorous training, the airline found that human pilots could not reliably respond in an emergency one of two different ways dependent on the particular plane they were flying that flight.



The airline disconnected the anti-lock braking on the newer planes so that pilots could be trained to respond one way all the time.



Please help me remember what was the specific airline. I need to obtain the results of any studies.
