Look, I consider myself a well rounded guy. I'm certainly not above a dirty limerick or a suggestive pun. But I do know, as I'm sure all of you do, that there is a time and a place for it. I have never seen anyone on this board, registered or annonymous, use profanity or explicit language. That said, I despise the blanket editing of any post that even contains a word, partial word, or phrase that contains some "explicit" combnation of letters, no matter how legitimate!!!!
I recently posted a reply and it contained the word c-o-c-k-pit. A perfectly reasonable and common aviation term. I also included the words cir-c-u-m-stances and ac-c-u-m-ulate, both edited. Replacing such combinations with "XXXX" just makes the moderators seem petty and juvenile. For crying out loud people, we're adults!!!!! If this is an automated edit, it should be removed. If it is deliberate and takes human eyes, GROW UP! We're above this kind a grade-school-lunch-table-hand-check junk.
Ok, rant over, please return your seat backs and tray tables to their full upright, and locked position.
