Has Avidyne fixed the polarization on their screens?

Published: Nov 29, 2009

Hi all. I flew a Cirrus a while back that had an Avidyne system, and was surprised to see that its screens were polarized at an angle that makes them incompatible with polarized sunglasses. Needless to say, this is a pretty big defect, which I haven't seen on Garmin systems. Anyone know if they've fixed this?

I fly a King Air B200 with the Avidyne Entegra system installed and I haven't noticed any problems when I'm wearing my polarized sunglasses.
