CAPS, or Cirrus Airframe Parachute System, racks up two more saves! The latest two reported saves, back in April, occurred within 36 hours of each other, thousands of miles apart. You can read the details on Cirrus's website, http://www.cirrusdesign.com/

Will this increase the safety of the GA fleet, or, if implemented, will the pilot be afraid to pull for whatever reason?
Can we expect to see the insurance companies start demanding the GA manufacturers include a BRS-style recovery system as standard equipment on light aircraft?
Your thoughts are welcome.
