I don't think this will be a fad. As a true amphib with simple to understand controls, benign stall characteristics, and a relatively low cost LSA that you can fly with a driver's license, I believe this will be a major turning point in aviation. Not to mention, have you seen who's on the waiting list for first deliveries?

I personally love the sound of this. It sounds like a winning combination. With the Cirrus long experience with composite airframes and the Icon A5 winning design it should really be a boost to speed up construction. What a marriage. Where do I sign up??

1450 pounds MTOW and 100hp takeoff on water (Request to FAA for 1650 MTOW). Anyhoo looks like I am outnumbered so I will just keep an eye out for progress and see what develops.
