Embraer Delivers First Phenom 100EV

Upgraded model offers new touchscreen avionics and more powerful engines.

Embraer Executive Jets delivered the first Phenom 100EV to an undisclosed U.S. customer.

Announced last year at EAA AirVenture, the new model is an upgraded Phenom 100 with Prodigy Touch avionics based in the Garmin G3000 system and more powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F1-E engines.

The 100EV’s new engines, boasting 1,730 pounds of thrust per side, power the 100EV to a cruise speed of 405 ktas and a range of 1,178 nm with NBAA IFR reserves and four occupants.

“The Phenom 100 set new industry standards when it arrived in 2008, raising customers’ expectations of an entry-level business jet,” said Michael Amalfitano, the newly-appointed CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. “The evolution of our first clean-sheet-design jet reflects our commitment to listen to customers and to continue to deliver revolutionary aircraft with superior value to the market.”

The first Phenom 100EV departed from Embraer Executive Jets’ Melbourne, Florida, factory last Friday.
