Embraer Delivers 300th Phenom 100

Light jet sees continued success.

Embraer Executive Jets has enjoyed a very successful introduction of its Phenom line of light jets. Only a little more than five years after the Brazilian airplane maker introduced the Phenom 100, it has recently delivered the 300th version of the model.

“We are very grateful to our Phenom 100 customers, with whom we share the celebration of this achievement,” said Embraer Executive Jets’ president and CEO Marco Túlio Pellegrini.

With room for up to seven occupants, including the pilot, the first Phenom 100 was delivered out of the São José Dos Campos factory in 2008 and, since then, Phenom 100s have been delivered to customers in more than 25 countries. Since the American market is one of the largest, Embraer has opened an assembly and delivery facility for the light jet in Melbourne, Florida. The U.S. based facility also assembles its larger sibling, the nine-seat Phenom 300.

In 2013, Embraer made a few upgrades to the Phenom 100, including multi-function spoilers, which help increase the descent rate and decrease speed in the air and on the ground. The upgraded Phenom 100E also includes a revamped interior with 11 different choices.

The 300th Phenom 100 was delivered to Laticínios Bela Vista, a Brazilian agricultural business that already owns a previous Phenom 100.
